Tasting Notes:
Pale violet with a red ruby hue. Aromatically full of spice, freshly felled cedar trees, iron, violets, and orange bitters. This pristine wine represents the full potential of the Bergstrom Vineyard. Reminiscent of sitting by a cherrywood fire with a loganberry tart sprinkled with cinnamon and demerara sugar. The flavors dance harmoniously with fresh cut sage and mint interwoven amongst blue fruits and wood spice. A lasting finish is balanced with bright acidity and tannin integrated from stem and oak. A perfect example of walking the line between ethereal and powerful.

Our original estate and our family's North Star located in the iron-rich volcanic soils of the Dundee Hills. The Bergstorm Vineyard is 13 acres of south and southeast facing vines bathing in the cool northerly sunlight and overlooking the expansive and rich Willamette Valley stretching south for one hundred miles. Optimum elevation and exposure provides ideal ripening potential for our most powerful, yet elegant expression of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, annually adorned with flowers, fruit, savory herbs and spices, and ferrous minerals.
