Did You Know?
The Malet Roquefort family, producers of Comtesse, have been rooted in Bordeaux winemaking since 1705, according to Perrine's Wine Shop. Their history extends even further back, with evidence of vines on their land dating to Gallo-Roman times, a fact confirmed by the discovery of ancient ruins on the property in 1969.
